When Love Speaks...You'd Better Listen!
Lisa Y. Watson
“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
~ Nelson Mandela, Long Walk to Freedom

Quote of the Month:
“I know that look,” Christopher said from the doorway.
She sat up higher against the pillows. “Oh you do?”
He sauntered over to the bed and lowered the tray he was carrying onto her lap.
“Yes, Mrs. Darcy. That is the very happy, and very satisfied look you wear after a night of Olympic loving by your husband.”
She choked on her orange juice. “Olympic?”
He stretched out next to her, and placed pillows behind his head so he could sit up. “Yes. I took you to places that were otherworldly. How could you not be utterly spent and satiated from such a journey?”
“Olympic?” she repeated again."
He grinned and reached over to kiss her. “Now, where were we?”
Christopher moved to lower her into a reclined position, but she slinked out from under him and got up.
“Let’s go, Captain. Our troops are going to be ready soon, and you know keeping them idling is like trying to keep the horses at bay when they’re ready to go on a sleigh ride.”
He laughed as she ran for the bathroom and shut the door.
“Where’s your sense of adventure?” he called out.
Yvette opened the door a few inches and peeked into the room. “That was last night,” she said, innocently. “Don’t you remember? It was…Olympic!”

It's been a busy few weeks for me as the holiday spirit kicks into full swing! My sister, Linda and I went to London, England to the Telecom Tech Expo at the Olympia Exhibition Center in Kensington. Linda gave a riveting speech on M2M at NASA. Because we were going to be there for a few days, and would be spending Thanksgiving there, Linda fixed an amazing traditional Turkey Dinner before we left. We only had a day and a half to get sightseeing in, but believe me, we did it!
We were able to take a Hop On Hop Off bus and toured a few of the usual tourist sites in London. By the time we got on and got going, it was beginning to get dark so we toured London by night! It was beautiful, and the perfect weather if you had to be out in the elements. I'll update my blog with all the details soon. In addition to London, we got a chance to visit Windsor Castle, the Roman Baths in Bath, and the incomparable site of Stonehenge!
Let me tell you, my Android phone hung in there, as did the space on it. I took over 200 pictures and didn't run out of space, and didn't have to delete any of the 700 + pictures I already had on there so Kudos to the Samsung Galaxy III S!
No rest for the weary though. It's back on deadline for
book 3 in The Match Broker series! Just a few weeks left before I have to turn it in. Back to lounge wear and brain boosting snacks!!
I'll be adding the pictures from my trip so be sure to check the Photos link at the top of my site very soon.
Be Blessed...Be Happy...and Be Inspired!!
